GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The General Assembly is the supreme authority of the Association and
is convened every two years during the European Congress meetings. It comprises
two delegates per country (the national delegates) nominated by the National
Society of Perinatal Medicine. Where such a society does not exist, the
national societies of obstetricians and paediatricians should appoint one
delegate each.
The General Assembly is presided over by the President of the Executive
Board. Honorary members may also participate in the General Assembly meeting
but do not have the right to vote. National delegates should contact the
Secretary/Treasurer and forward suggestions for nominations for the General
Assembly at least three calendar months in advance of the General Assembly
meeting.
